Note
|
Adam succeeded to Oxmuir in the reign of Alexander II (1214-1249). He is mentioned in an obligation of Philip of Lochore the 21st year of Alexander II (1235). In about 1240 he married a daughter of Philip of Lochore or Locquhore and they had 2 sons. The eldest Roger succeeded to the estate of Oxmuir in about 1249, but died without issue and so the estate passed to his younger brother William de Bosvil of Roxburgh |
